Suggest a Session
WHAT IS A "SESSION?”
A session is a chance for people to either learn from an expert or participate in a shared activity, possibly learning something new and definitely having fun! The term 'session' refers to a class-like setting or a band's jam session. It's a mashup of fun and good conversation. A session could look like hosting a book discussion, presenting a tutorial on a fun hobby, or giving cooking lessons from your kitchen.
WHY?
At Restoration, we value building relationships through shared experiences. We hope this will happen around something that you already love doing and are good at.
WHEN?
Sessions are hosted during Ordinary Time, usually in the winter months of January through March and the summer months of June through August.
WHO CAN HOST A SESSION?
If you're a regular Sunday attender at Restoration Anglican and are involved in some way outside of regular attendance (ministry team, life group, giving, etc.) you can host a session! If you enjoy being hospitable, are welcoming and like getting people together to do something interesting and fun, this is for you.
WHO CAN ATTEND A SESSION?
Anyone and everyone. People in the church and not in the church. A host needs to be prepared to host at least 8-10 people, but if only a few people attend your session, that's just fine.
